Career Readiness for ALL

At ALLready—an initiative of the Coalition for Career Development Center—we believe career readiness should be at the very core of American education. We turn research into practical tools, insights, and partnerships that create a democracy of career opportunity. Together with leaders from business, education, community, and government, we are building seamless pathways from learning to work, so everyone is ALLready for the future they deserve.

Career Readiness for ALL

Welcome to ALLready—an extension of the Coalition for Career Development (CCD) Center dedicated to making career readiness for ALL the number one priority in American education. We’re here to distill the Center’s robust body of think tank work into actionable insights, guidance, and technical assistance for K-12 educators, industries, governments, and communities. Did You Know?

95-97%

of Americans do not believe that high school graduates are well prepared for college or careers.

60%

of employers say graduates are mostly unprepared for jobs.

$93B

is lost annually in wages and tax revenues due to disconnected youth in the United States.

This is why we launched ALLready. Despite hundreds of billions of dollars spent on academic learning and workforce development, America is still failing to prepare millions of young adults for productive careers. The cornerstone for serving these young people better—and strengthening our economy—is to make career readiness for ALL the first priority of American education.
